Biografie

Prof. Dr. Marina Fiedler studierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre (Dipl-Kffr.) an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München und Positive Psychologie (MSc) an der University of East London. Darüber hinaus hat sie Abschlüsse als Industriekauffrau (IHK) sowie als Master in Business Research (MBR) von der Universität München. Sie promovierte (2004) und habilitierte sich (2008) an der Universität München und hat 2009 den Lehrstuhl für Unternehmensführung, Organisation und Personal an der Universität Düsseldorf vertreten. Seit 2010 ist sie Inhaberin des Lehrstuhls für Management, Personal und Information an der Universität Passau. Sie ist Associate Editor beim Schmalenbach Journal of Business Research (SBUR) sowie Leiterin des Passauer Experimentallabors PAULA. 2008 hat sie den zfo-Preis für Nachwuchswissenschaftler und 2011 den Preis für gute Lehre des bayerischen Staatsministeriums für Wissenschaft und Kunst erhalten.

Forschungsaufenthalte führten sie an die Bentley University, die University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), die New York University (NYU), die University of Hawaii at Manoa und die University of Michigan und Gastprofessuren an die Corvinus Universität (Budapest) und die Staatsuniversität für Management (Moskau).

Ihre Forschung konzentriert sich auf die Schnittstelle von drei zentralen Themen der Digitalisierung und Arbeit: (1) die Rolle von KI in Organisationen und IT-Plattformen; (2) Governance und Management von nachhaltigem Verhalten; und (3) Veränderungen in der Arbeitsgestaltung. Ihre Forschung zu den Möglichkeiten, nachhaltiges Mitarbeiterverhalten durch Informationssysteme zu fördern, wurde von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) gefördert.
