During the registration period applicable to your degree program, you can register with the department for exams to obtain a certificate of achievement (“Schein”). This is only possible for courses at the department that are not part of the normal curriculum of your degree program (voluntary additional achievement).
If you are entitled to compensation for disadvantages, please submit this in a timely manner to the examination office.
To register, please send the following information in a timely manner within the registration period by email to sekretariat.fiedler@uni-passau.de with the subject line “Registration for Scheinklausur”:
Students enrolled in bachelor's degree programs are not permitted to take exams for master's degree programs (including independent exams). Similarly, master's students are not permitted to take bachelor's exams. Exceptions require approval from the department.
The examination office is responsible for recognizing the work performed. The chair cannot assess whether the work is creditable for your degree program. The examination office is the sole point of contact for questions regarding creditability and the credit process.
Exchange students must register within the registration period via the Dean's Office. To do so, please send the completed registration form by email to dekanat.wiwi@uni-passau.de. Please also note the additional information for exchange students.
Students enrolled in a double master's or bachelor's degree program are required to register for centrally organized exams via the campus portal or for decentralized exams by email via the secretariat (sekretariat.fiedler@uni-passau.de).
The possibility of a special exam is expressly excluded. Independent exams are subject to approval by the chair, but this does not constitute a claim to recognition. Recognition of the results achieved is the responsibility of the examination office.
