Current Topics (available from mid-August)
We place a strong emphasis on academic rigor and quality. Every thesis should be based on a clearly defined research question that is addressed using appropriate research methods and grounded in the current state of research. This does not preclude collaboration with industry partners. In such cases, the practical problem must first be translated into a research problem that can be investigated academically. Given the limited time available for bachelor's theses, we primarily supervise literature-based theses. Regardless of the topic, all theses are expected to engage with current academic debates and draw on research published in leading international peer-reviewed journals.
You must be enrolled in one of the following degree programs: Bachelor's degree "Business Administration and Economics", Bachelor's degree "International Cultural and Business Studies", Bachelor's degree "Digital Transformation in Business and Society". If you want to apply, you must meet the specific prerequisites for your thesis. Please have a look at your respective study and exam guidelines:
We recommend participating in at least one marketing seminar and at least two marketing lectures. Candidates are selected according to the high-performance principle which means that the best performing applicants are considered with priority. Students enrolled in the Bachelor’s degree “Business Administration” are also considered with priority in the case of high demand.
Attention: Due to new regulations, you must be enrolled at the university at the time you submit your thesis. You cannot register the thesis during a holiday semester.
