The virtuelle Hochschule Bayern (vhb) offers a variety of free online German courses. You don’t need to be enrolled to take these courses - so you can start preparing even before your stay begins. To access the courses, select “Languages” from the Subject Area menu in the upper-left corner.
Once you are enrolled, you can sign up for the free German courses offered by the University's Language Centre.
