The modules, which are perfectly coordinated with one another, are aimed, on the one hand, at students whose future career goal is a role in tax consultancy or auditing. On the other hand, Taxation also offers all other students with an interest in taxation optimal preparation for the professional world, as they too will regularly encounter the effects of taxation.
The Bachelor’s programme provides the foundation of specialist knowledge required for future career choices. Students also receive the best possible preparation for a subsequent Master’s programme, during which they will further deepen and expand the basic knowledge they have acquired.
During the Bachelor’s programme, the lectures on Steuerplanung and Ertragsteuern und Steuerbilanzen are each offered in the winter semester. The lecture on Grundzüge der Internationalen Besteuerung and the Steuerseminar Bachelor are each held in the summer semester. Towards the end of the Bachelor’s programme, it is possible to apply to write a Bachelor’s thesis at our chair.
During the Master’s programme, students can attend the lectures on International Taxation and Transfer Pricing, as well as the Master’s Tax Seminar, in the winter semester. In the summer semester, lectures on Tax Effects, Immobilien und Steuern, and Rechtsformwahl und M&A are offered. At the end of the Master’s programme, you can apply to write a Master’s thesis at our department.
