The board of associate editors consists of 8 American, European and Asian scholars in the field of family business and family entrepreneurship. Prof. Ahrens will be joining as the only editor from Germany among them.
Moreover, at the European Academy of Management (EURAM) 2023 Prof. Ahrens was elected the division chair for the family business research division (SIG FABR) which handles around 70 scholarly submissions each year. Next year, the EURAM as the largest management conference in Europe, will take place in at the University of Bath, United Kingdom.
Jan-Philipp is currently researching at the intersection of big data, machine learning/AI and family firms.
