Our research focuses on International Trade, Foreign Direct Investment, International Value Chains, Outsourcing and International Tax Competition. A current DFG-Project analyzes the influence of internationally active “watchdog” NGOs and CSOs on international trade, outsourcing and trade policy.
The teaching of the chair covers both International Trade and International Macroeconomics on the Bachelor level. In our Master program we offer both introductory and advanced courses on International Trade, Multinational Firms and Offshoring.
