The course provides a basic understanding of mergers and acquisitions, highlighting the significance of M&A and the various reasons behind M&A activities.
Students will learn to identify and analyse potential acquisition targets.
Furthermore, the valuation of potential acquisition targets and the structuring of such transactions are key topics.

Recommended semester & prerequisites
This course should be taken at the start or midway through your degree programme. Prior knowledge of the topics covered in the introductory module in Finance is recommended; further finance modules are an advantage.
