Our Chair is your point of contact for the recognition of study credits earned abroad in the field of Finance and Banking.
There are two options for recognition:
IMPORTANT:
Please be sure to submit your Learning Agreement before your stay abroad, since retroactive recognition cannot be guaranteed.
Please allow us two weeks to process your request.
1. Select the appropriate form:
Start of studies before WiSe 23/24 => Form: Learning Agreement AFT
Start of studies in WiSe 2023/24 or later, depending on the degree programme:
=> Learning Agreement BAE Abroad (BA Economics Abroad)
=> Learning Agreement BA DTBS Abroad
=> Learning Agreement BA WI Abroad (BA Business Informatics Abroad)
=> Learning Agreement BA/MA KuWi Abroad
=> Learning Agreement Master Abroad
=> Learning Agreement for non-economics degree programmes
Start of studies in SoSe 2025 (MBA) or when applying to transfer to the new examination regulations:
=> Learning Agreement MBA Abroad (English)
2. Complete and sign the form digitally, and attach detailed information on the course content and examination arrangements in German or English. (If you only have this information available in another language, please submit your own translation alongside the original description.)
3. Submit by e-mail to Sebastian Schmid.
Please make sure you send a digitally editable PDF version; converted scans, photographs, etc. cannot be accepted.
A separate form is required for each module to be recognised. Unfortunately, we are unable to process incomplete applications.
FAQ Learning Agreements
Please submit the individual Learning Agreements digitally, together with the Transcript of Records obtained at the foreign university, to notenumrechnung.wiwi@uni-passau.de.
After the conversion has been completed, submit your complete documents to the Examinations Office (Prüfungssekretariat) for the preparation of your overall Learning Agreement. Detailed information from the School of Business, Economics and Information Systems is available.
