María Fernanda Ledezma Agredo is a PhD student at the Chair of Development Economics and part of the DFG Research Training Group 2720 “Digital Platform Ecosystems” (DPE).
She holds a master’s degree in Development Studies, with a specialization in Economics, from the University of Passau and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Valle in Colombia. During her master’s studies, she was a DAAD scholarship holder and worked as a research assistant at the DPE group. Before moving to Germany, she worked at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, where she supported the financial planning and monitoring of international research and development projects.
Her research interests lie in development economics, particularly in the fields of health and education, with a focus on how digital technologies can affect access to essential services in developing countries.
