Learning Agreement
Before your stay abroad
Step 1: Selection of a course at the university abroad
You will select one or more courses offered as part of your study abroad course that meet the following requirements:
Either:
- Comparable content and time commitment to a course offered by the Chair of Accounting and Auditing if it is to be credited toward a specific course,
or:
- Content related to the teaching and research focus of the chair, if the course is to be brought in as part of the AFT focus.
Step 2: Applying for a Learning Agreement
To apply for a Learning Agreement, please submit the following documents in full by email to Sophia Sandschulte (Sophia.Sandschulte@uni-passau.de)
- the application for the issuance of a Learning Agreement completed and signed by you
- a course description in the form of a Word document (sheet 3 "Application"), which must include the following information:
- Course name and event number
- Detailed course description in German or English language
- Number of credit points and semester hours per week
- Type of examination
- Link to the module catalog of the university abroad, which contains the corresponding course
Please refer to the following example for course description.
If the course name is only available in a language other than German or English, we require a translation, which can also be provided by you if necessary. However, please enclose the original for this purpose.
Step 3: Issuance of the Learning Agreement
After reviewing the documents, you will as soon as possible receive information as to whether the issuance of a Learning Agreement is possible or whether additional information is required. After a successful check, we will inform you when you can pick up the Learning Agreement.
After your stay abroad
Grade conversion in the Dean's office
You can have the Dean's Office (Learning Agreements) confirm the conversion of your grade during office hours.
For the conversion you need the following two documents:
- The official Transcript of Records of the partner university in the original (not digital!) + 1 copy.
- The issued, signed Learning Agreement
You can submit the Learning Agreement to the Examination Office after the grade conversion has been confirmed by the Dean's Office.
For more information on grade conversion, please see the appropriate Faculty of Business and Economics page.
