At the invitation of Prof. Dr. Christoph Pelger, Kjell Ove Røsok visited the University of Passau on 1 June 2026. Kjell Ove Røsok is an Associate Professor in the Department of Auditing, Accounting and Law at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He presented his current research project on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the accounting profession to members of the Chair of Accounting & Auditing. In doing so, he presented initial findings on how AI is currently being used in accounting firms and how working methods and role models in accounting practice could change in the long term. This provided the members of the Chair with the opportunity to discuss current developments regarding the use of AI in accounting with Kjell Ove Røsok.
