The University of Zurich offers a PhD position at the Centre of Energy and the Environment (CEE) at ZHAW. The CEE was founded in 2017 with a research focus on energy and climate economics and policy as well as electricity market design. CEE is part of the Swiss Competence Centre for Research in Energy, Society and Transition (SCCER CREST) and is leading the SNIS project “Designing Effective Regulation for Carbon Markets at the International, National, and Subnational Level” in collaboration with the University of Zurich. The SNIS project will start in January 2019 and includes among others an empirical analysis of the behaviour of different players in carbon markets.
