As part of our international cooperation with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India, students of the Business Administration and Information Systems degree programmes can obtain a Master of Science from IIT Madras.
Admission to this scheme is granted by a joint selection committee of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at the University of Passau and the Department of Management Studies at IIT Madras.
As part of your studies towards the double degree, a study period of at least one semester (2 quarters) is required at the Department of Management Studies of IIT Madras. At the Department of Management Studies, 5 courses with 6 IITM credits each (= 5 ECTS credits) or 4 courses with 6 IITM credits each and a project work with report must be successfully completed. The coursework at IIT Madras must be completed before completing the Passau Master's programme. The coursework completed at the Department of Management Studies at IIT Madras will be recognised for the Passau programme. Upon successful completion of the Passau Master's programme, the double degree scheme is also completed.
