Our paper "Effective use of open data portals for social good: Design principles for explainable LLM-based open data assistants" by Till Carlo Schelhorn (KIT), Prof. Ulrich Gnewuch, and Prof. Alexander Maedche (KIT) has been published in Decision Support Systems (DSS). This paper investigates the design of LLM-based assistants for open data portals to improve citizens' access to government open data.
