Prof. Dr. Ulrich Gnewuch and Ana-Maria Sîrbu took part on September 22 and 23 in the two-day bidt research focus meeting on the topic “Trust and Generative AI” in Neufahrn i. NB. The bidt-funded project “Trustworthy Generative AI Copilots for Data Analytics in Business Decision-Making” under the direction of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Gnewuch is one of ten projects within this research focus. Together with researchers from the other projects across various disciplines, there was an intensive exchange on topics such as the dynamic development of generative and “agentic” AI, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the promotion of early-career researchers. The dialogue provided valuable impulses for the further development of the project and future collaborations.
