Under the title “It takes two to tango – conceptualizing the “succession dance” in family firms through social exchange theory” the research team analyzed relations and exchanges in CEO succession processes which describe why and when the incoming and the outgoing CEO carry out a period of joint lead – a process known under the term “succession dance”. It is the 24th award or award nomination for Prof. Dr. Jan-Philipp Ahrens.
