Dr. Diana Mistreanu from the University of Passau will be organising two events at the UQAM that will take place later this month and can also be followed online about American Indigenous literatures, cultures, and research methodologies.

22nd May - the international conference "Decolonizing comparison. Trans-Indigenous readings of contemporary literature from Canada and the rest of the Americas", hosted and funded by the Canada Research Chair (CRC) for the history of non-dominant cultural practices (UQAM), from 9 AM to 6 PM (Montréal time). The Innu (Indigenous nation from Québec and Labrador) writer and artist Natasha Kanapé Fontaine will be giving one of the keynote lectures of this conference at 2 PM (Montréal), 8 PM in Germany.
