Our research group climbs aboard of the extended joint project 'KIMoNo' and will be responsible for the optimization part in this project.
KIMoNo stands for ‘KI-basierte typenübergreifende Mobilitätsoptimierung’ (English: AI-based cross-type mobility optimization) in rural regions. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure. The research groups of Prof. Granitzer, Prof. Kosch, Prof. Sauer and Prof. Otto (University of Passau) and of Prof. Dorner (TH Deggendorf) are involved.
With recourse to AI methods, the project aims to unleash the potential of intermodal transport to improve the quality and the efficiency of the medical care in rural areas. Our special attention is drawn to drones and delivery robots.
