GIZ offers Internship „Green Public Finance and Just Transition”
For more than 50 years, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), as a company of the German Federal Government, has been supporting the implementation of development policy goals worldwide. Together with partner organisations in 120 countries, they are involved in a diverse range of projects.
The Competence Center “Public Finance and Administration” within the division “Governance and Conflict” promotes the responsible handling of public finances and strengthens the performance of administrations in partner countries. They play a quality-assuring role in shaping the content of GIZ commissions, combining state-of-the-art conceptual knowledge, international networks, process expertise and implementation experience. The Competence Centre supports development cooperation programmes worldwide in the areas of public finance, public administration, anti-corruption and raw materials governance, particularly in project planning and by providing technical advice on implementation. They are also increasingly working on how approaches within these areas can contribute to environmental and climate goals and a just transition to a low-carbon future.
