From January 2012 to December 2014, Markus Dirmhirn had been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Management Accounting and Control. He took a doctoral degree about value-based management in association with BMW Group inside the ProMotion-Program.
His teaching focus was in the area of value-based accounting. His research focus laid on the empirical view of implementation phases of value-based management.
Markus Dirmhirn began his studies in Technology and Management at Technische Universität München in October 2007, which he finished in March 2011.
