To learn more about "Industrie 4.0" in Germany, Prof. Nobutaka Kazama (photo) and Prof. Kazuyuki Shimizu, both from the Meiji University in Tokyo, came to visit Prof. Dr. Robert Obermaier on the occasion of a research trip. The japanese scientists have been very interested in the current development of the German industry regarding automation, digitization and networking of industrial players.
