Bridge Festival
Celebrating above the sparkling water of the Danube: The "Brückenfest" (Bridge Festival) on the suspension bridge ("Hängebrücke") offers beer and culinary pleasures, music and a great view on Passau’s main sights like the fortress or the cathedral.

Opera “La Bohème” from Giacomo Puccini
Based on Henry Murger's novel Scenes de la vie de Bohème, the opera follows a love story between a poet named Rodolfo and Mimi, a seamstress, as they are forced to face the challenges of Mimi's declining health and the realities of living in Paris' Latin Quarter during the 1830s.

Guided Evening Stroll
During this one-hour walking tour you will hear interesting stories and tales of Passau‘s past and present, while exploring the baroque heart of the historic center and strolling along St. Stephen‘s Cathedral as well as the bishop’s palaces. We have chosen unique places for your visit with wonderful views. The tour ends with a complimentary drink in one of Passau‘s typical taverns.

Transportation
City bus services
You can conveniently walk all distances between most hotels and conference venues. The walk will rarely take longer than 20 minutes. If you still prefer public transport, please go to the main bus station (called “ZOB”) where buses leave every 15 or 30 minutes in all directions. To move around town: The CityBus goes from the train station (“Hauptbahnhof”) via ZOB and town hall (“Rathaus”) to “Römerplatz” (which is close to many hotels) and back between 6.45 am until 8 pm
Taxi
The Taxi Central Passau +49 (0)851 57373 with its 43 members is the central hub for taxis in and around the three-river city Passau. They only provide dispatch services and do not own any taxis themselves; all taxi operators affiliated with them drive on their own account.
