We feel honored and privileged to welcome Jonathan Bundy, Ph. D. as a scholarly guest at our chair from September 22 to September 27, 2016. Jonathan Bundy is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management of Arizona State University (USA). Before joining the ASU faculty, he was Assistant Professor at Smeal College of Business, Pennsylvania State University (USA).
Broadly, his research takes a behavioral approach to strategic management and focuses on the social and cognitive forces that shape organizational outcomes and behavior. He is specifically interested in four related areas: (i) reputation and other social evaluations, (ii) crisis and impression management, (iii) stakeholder management, and (iv) corporate governance.
His works has been published in highly acclaimed outlets including, among other, Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science, and the Case Research Journal. He also serves as member of the Editorial Board of the Academy of Management Review. During his stay, Jon Bundy, Andreas König and Lorenz Graf will continue their study of the implications of CEOs’ susceptibility to emotions in managing organizational crises.
Jonathan Bundy will also hold a lecture as part of the ICEBS program at our University on Friday, September 23, at 10:00 a.m. in room 314a, HK 14b.
