As part of our guest lecture series, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Manuel Herold from LGT Capital as well as Susanne Hofer, Pauline Fuchs-Gamboeck and Georg Harenberg from Roland Berger to our International Management lecture on May 23 and 24, 2023.
Dr. Manuel Herold, Executive Director Portfolio Manager Fixed Income Developed Markets, gave us valuable insights into sustainable investment management. He made clear to us that the current environmental and social challenges are accompanied by entrepreneurial opportunities and thus the importance of sustainable investments is increasing. Furthermore, he showed us how LGT Capital performs an ESG assessment using its own cockpit.
Mr. Georg Harenberg, founder of CARAS and consultant at Roland Berger, provided insights into self-management with his presentation "A Strategy for your life" on how students and young professionals can organize their professional and everyday life - considering the Work Life Balance. Afterwards, Susanne Hofer (HR Manager Learning and Development) and Pauline Fuchs-Gamboeck (Consultant) presented Roland Berger as an employer.
Finally, we invited to a Meet & Greet where our students had the unique opportunity to talk about career opportunities, such as internships or starting a career after graduation.
