The exchange with the business practice is very important for us. Therefore, we were pleased that Dr. Martin Schulte, principal of the Boston Consulting Group, was giving a lecture entitled "Strategy and Leadership in Times of Discontinuous Change - The Case of Retailing" on February 4, 2014.
The lecture was part of the course "Fundamental Theory of Strategy, Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship" and very attractive for all those who are interested in the topics of our Chair. Dr. Schulte presented the challenges that arise in practice when established players have to change radically. As he pointed out, it's not just about economic, but also about interpersonal conflicts.
