The "Verein der Freunde und Förderer der Wirtschaftswissenschaften in Passau e.V." was founded on October 14, 2015. The non-profit association is a registered charity (Local court VR 200693) and supports goals of the School of Business, Economics and Information Systems at the University of Passau, in particular:

• Research, teaching and students at the faculty
• Contact and exchange between students and alumni of the faculty
• Relations of the School to companies, corporations and associations
