Expert opinions can be issued by any chair that is relevant to the course of study in question. Typical occasions for issuing an expert opinion include semesters abroad, letters of recommendation for students wishing to apply for a Master's programme, or scholarship applications.

Students may apply to the professorship for an expert opinion provided they have completed at least two modules in our field.

Please send an email to anja.schwendner@uni-passau.de at the latest three weeks prior to the deadline and include the following information:

• A current HISQIS transcript
• Your CV
• A letter of motivation covering the following questions:
  • ­­Why do you wish to pursue a semester abroad/a Master's degree/a scholarship?
  • Why should the Chair recommend you?
  • Why are you interested in our field?
• A completed form (if required by the university or organization providing the scholarship)

Please note that the professorship will issue a maximum of two expert opinions.
