Dr. Christian Meier
Curriculum Vitae and Research Focus
From October 2010 to December 2014, Christian Meier had been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Management Accounting and Control at Passau University.
His teaching focus was in the area of management accounting and company valuation, while his research focus was placed on experimental management accounting. His main areas of research included:
- Incentive systems and performances measures
- Decision support and information processing
Besides his teaching and research activities, Mr. Meier also successfully completed "ProfiLehre", the program of Bavarian universities that aims to professionalize the teaching at its universities.
In October 2004 Mr. Meier started his studies in Business Administration at Passau University. Furthermore, he studied at the Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary, within the ERASMUS program of the European Union. He finished his studies in May 2010 majoring in the fields of capital markets and corporate finance, accounting and auditing and economics with the German degree "Diplom-Kaufmann".
