On January 15, 2026, Prof. Dr. Pelger welcomed Hans Hartmann (Partner, Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services) and Bernhard Schatz (Director, Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services) from the auditing firm PwC in Vienna to give a guest lecture as part of the “Financial Statements” course. The two speakers gave students practical insights into current developments in sustainability reporting in the EU. Afterwards, the students took the opportunity to ask questions about the challenges in auditing.
