On October 21, 2025, students from the bachelor’s and master’s seminars in Accounting and Auditing, together with Prof. Dr. Christoph Pelger, Katharina-Maria Wagner, and Nadine Engel, visited the Austrian PwC headquarters in Vienna's DC Tower. PwC partners Ulf Kühle (Corporate Reporting Services) and Hans Hartmann (Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services) and their teams provided the participants with valuable insights into the Austrian enforcement system and CSRD sustainability reporting.
The students worked on a practical PwC case study on an enforcement procedure, taking on the roles of reporting companies or enforcers. The discussion with Nusret Calo from the Financial Market Authority (FMA), who provided insights from the enforcer’s perspective, was also particularly enriching.
