We prepare letters of recommendation and assessment reports for academic purposes only if they are addressed to a specific addressee. We do not prepare general letters or reports. Without exception, the recommendaton letters and reports are sent directly to the respective organisation, e.g. the scholarship foundation or university to which you are applying.

You have attended at least three courses of the Chair of Statistics and Data Analytics or of the Teaching Unit for Computational Statistics and Mathematics and you have passed them with at least good results (grade 2.3 or better).

You have to submit the following documents for us to prepare a recommendation:

1. Letter of motivation which provides information about (a) your motivation for the application and (b) the reasons why you consider yourself to be suitable.
2. Indication of the courses you have attended at the Chair and/or the Teaching Unit, including your grades.
3. A current transcript of records and, if applicable, a diploma.
4. Curriculum vitae and, if applicable, job references.
5. Address of the organisation to which you are applying.
6. Requirements for the letter of recommendation - does the receiving organisation, for example, specify certain topics?
