As of May 2013, Dirk Totzek, Ph.D., is Professor of Marketing and Chair of Marketing and Services at the University of Passau. In July 2013 he was appointed as director of the Centre for Market and Tourism Research of the University of Passau. He also teaches at various other institutions such as Mannheim Business School, Corvinus University Budapest and GGS in Heilbronn.
Before joining the University of Passau, he was a Junior Professor (Assistant Professor) for Empirical Research Methods at the School of Business at the University of Mannheim, where he also received his Habilitation degree in April 2013. After completing his studies in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim and ESSEC Business School (France), he obtained his Ph.D. in 2010 at the Chair of Professor Christian Homburg, Ph.D., at the University of Mannheim.
